Con el objetivo de estimular el conocimiento acerca de las Infecciones de Transmisión Sexual (ITS), el Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Adquirida (VIH) y el sida, el equipo de Educación y Promoción para la Salud en Jaruco, convoca al Concurso Municipal sobre el tema, en saludo al primero de diciembre, Día Mundial de la Lucha contra esa pandemia.
Los interesados de todas las edades, entregarán obras en cualquier manifestación artística, que resalten aspectos relacionados con el trabajo que desde hace varios años desarrolla Cuba, en aras de elevar la percepción de riesgo en la población, según informó Ofelia Delgado, al frente de dicho programa en el municipio.
El plazo de admisión vence el 28 de noviembre, y las obras se entregarán en la Unidad de Higiene y Epidemiología del territorio, precisó la especialista.
El certamen que cada año convocan promotores y autoridades de salud, se suma a las acciones encaminadas a educar a las personas, y como resultado de esa labor, hoy Jaruco no figura entre los de mayor prevalencia de VIH y sida en Mayabeque.
